Created by students in 2009; the McMaster Marching Band (MMB) is a talented group of sixty musicians. Our brass and reed band has performed at parades, athletic games, and many community events in Hamilton, Brantford, and Stoney Creek. Recently we were selected to perform in the popular St. Patrick's Day parade in Montreal - our first ever out-of-province parade. Our primary directive as a band is to serve as a group of musicians and dancers raising morale and spirit within McMaster University, the community and abroad. In addition, the MMB serves as a common interest and activity for its members, combining both musical aptitude and physical fitness. We provide a unique and rewarding experience for all our members in which musicianship and athleticism is developed.
