Canadian Feed the Children at The University of Western Ontario (CFTC @ UWO) aims to raise support, awareness and financial aid for CFTC, whose goal it is to reduce the impact of poverty on children around the world. The club reaches out to the student community to highlight issues of poverty and children, and how together we can make a difference. Through fundraising activities and awareness seminars, the Canadian Feed The Children Club harnesses the power of Western's student population to make positive changes. Our main fundraising initiative is the comedy show, with the last 2 shows raising over $28000 in charitable relief. The club has run many other great events, which has gained us the attention of the student body and has made us one of the most successful charity clubs on campus.
