Every year the Caribbean Society at Saint Mary's University host their annual Caribanza weekend which can also be considered a conference. This is a cultural weekend event starting with promising, motivational, and educational workshops and speakers. The following day is sports day an event which encourages our members to be active, participate in team building and have some fun. During sports day we have battles of the socities .Lastly, we end the conference with the main event the banquet. This year Caribanza will be held on Sunday March 4th in the McNally theatre under the theme: Sun, Sand and Sea. The Caribbean Society is lead by university students. With any sponsorship we recieve it will aid in this event being a sucess. Our society is based on entirely enhancing leadership amongst young individuals. We are not only a Caribbean Society but we are a family that welcomes every student at Saint Mary's University.
